Watermill Cottage – sleeps four
This single-storey, two bedroom, traditional stone cottage stands beside the mill race comfortably sleeps 4. A path leads over a small footbridge for a short walk along Crakehall Beck to the village. Wake to the sound of the water passing below your bedroom window. Imagine the peace, with wildlife in abundance – even an occasional kingfisher!
The cottage is very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished to a high standard. This is a popular cottage to visit throughout the year, and guests return year after year.
The attractive sitting room has an open fire to enjoy in the cooler months – it is great for toasting crumpets for tea when you return from exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Herriot Country and beyond. There is also a flatscreen TV with DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a radio and CD player.
An open plan kitchen/dining room has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, grill and microwave.
Two bedrooms – one spacious double with 5ft king-size bed, and one small twin with two 3ft beds. The tiled Bathroom/wc includes a shower over the bath.
There is also complimentary Wi-Fi, access to washing machine and dryer and a barbecue.
Heating, electricity, luxury bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot & high chair are available.
You’ll also find home baking to welcome you on arrival.
Please note: there is a stream nearby and a fenced riverside garden (toddlers beware!) with table and chairs.
