Ours is a very pretty and quiet all grass site in the meadow alongside Crakehall Beck and the Mill race.   Generally open from Easter to the end of October.

A Caravan & Motorhome Club (CAMC) Certificated Location (CL), site no 1710, listed under Bedale, North Yorkshire.  We are therefore only able to welcome CAMC members.

We have five pitches, each with an electric hook-up point. Drinking water, a toilet and chemical disposal point are also provided.
As detailed in the Club Directory we do have a slope on the site  and as it is  difficult to describe how little / much of a slope there is, we therefore advise members to bring levelling chocks to assist them. Please be aware the field can become wet after heavy rain and then some pitches are more suited to those with 4WD. The site is for adults.  Pets are welcome – we ask that they are kept under control on a lead at all times.

The 2022 rate is £20 per van per night (based on 2 adults) including electricity and we do not charge for awnings.
There is a footpath leading directly from the site, which is part of a network of footpaths around the village. It is a short stroll to the village green, church and pub. There is also a self service petrol station in the village.

The entrance to our drive off the public road is 4.2m wide.  For directions please see our entry on CAMC website or use the Google Map on the Contact page of this website.  There is more than one property with our postcode.  Please approach from the A684 direction.

When you exit our site please ensure you allow sufficient room for your caravan/motorhome to clear the entrance before completing the turn and continuing on your journey.

A very convenient location, approx five minutes drive from the A1M Junction 51, and 2 miles from Bedale, with easy access through Wensleydale into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales by car, public transport or via the Wensleydale Railway.
Alternatively, head east to the North York Moors and coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby, or plan a great day in York, taking the train from Northallerton or using the Park & Ride service.

If you have friends who do not caravan perhaps they may enjoy staying in one of our beautiful self-catering holiday cottages here whilst you stay on our CL? – please see our Cottages page.
