We have 2 beautiful cottages, sleeping 2 and 6 guests. A path leads over a small footbridge for a short walk along Crakehall Beck to the village. Wake to the sound of the water passing close by in the mill stream. Imagine the peace, with wildlife in abundance – even an occasional kingfisher or egret. Often moorhen, pheasant, wren, tree creepers & pheasants !
A mill was recorded here in Little Crakehall in the Domesday Survey of 1086AD.
The current working mill dates from the 17th century and is an excellent example of a country corn mill.
Ours is a very pretty and quiet site in the meadow alongside Crakehall Beck and the Mill race. A Caravan & Motorhome Club Certified Location (CL), we have just five pitches, each with an electric hook-up point. Drinking water, a toilet and chemical disposal point are also provided.
Our cottages are for self-catering holiday lets. Kindly note there is not a B&B option.
