Ours is a very pretty and quiet site in the meadow alongside Crakehall Beck and the Mill race.
A Caravan Club Certified Location (CL), we have just five pitches, each with an electric hook-up point. Drinking water, a toilet and chemical disposal point are also provided.
As detailed in the Caravan Club Directory, we do have a slope on the site  and as it always difficult to describe how little / much of a slope there is, we therefore advise members to bring levelling chocks to assist them. Also, as detailed in the directory, the site is for adults.  Pets are welcome – we ask that they are kept under control at all times.
The 2014 & 2015 rate is £15 per van per night including electricity and we do not charge for awnings.
There is a footpath leading directly from the site, which is part of a network of footpaths around the village. It is a short stroll to the village green, churches, pub, village shop and garage.
A very convenient location, it is just five minutes drive from the A1(M), with easy access through Wensleydale into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales by car, public transport (local Dales & District bus service) or via the Wensleydale Railway.
Alternatively, head east to the North York Moors and coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby, or plan a great day in York, taking the train from Northallerton or using the Park & Ride service.

If you have friends who do not caravan perhaps they may enjoy staying in one of our beautiful self-catering holiday cottages whilst you stay on our CL? – please see our Cottages page. Alternatively they may enjoy Bed & Breakfast close by.  Please see the Crakehall Watermill B&B site for details.
